Digital Painting

The course of trying to expand the horizon for Mithila/ Madhubani paintings globally took the route of digital platform and Digital paintings.
Digital painting is a method of creating a painting digitally on the computer. As a method of creating an art object, it adapts traditional painting medium such as acrylic paint, oils, ink, watercolor, etc. and applies the pigment to traditional carriers, such as woven canvas cloth, paper, polyester etc. by means of computer software. As a technique, it refers to a computer graphics software program that uses a virtual canvas and virtual painting box of brushes, colors and other supplies.
The computer softwares like illustrator, corel draw, photoshop work as base for these paintings, with the help of mouse or digital pens. Tablets and smartphones with high precision stylus work great to make the digital paintings look even closer to the traditional handpainted style but can be reproduced in an easier way.
