Posting a work after a long gap. Apologies if you missed my work 😉
Recently I had this left over paper and I wanted to try my new nib so just started to doodle which turned up in the form of this painting. After some deliberation named it “Goddess of the water” , keeping in trend the concept of traditional Mithila or Madhubani Paintings of Gods and Goddesses and mythological stories. 😉 Although this is completely my artistic liberty with naming a work. 🙂
This is a very simple painting with no fancy motifs. As you can see the painting is in three parts – the central part is graced with the presence of Goddess (as I want to call her) with Lotus on the top layer of water and Fishes in the layer beneath.
Base: Paper
Paint: Acrylic paint with brush and Ink with Nib for outlines
Mode: Handmade Painting
