On the occasion of Halloween , I have made this greetings card. The greeting card has been decorated with the elements of the festival in the style and motifs of Mithila / Madhubani Painting .
Halloween is celebrated every year in many countries on 31st October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows’ Day. Typical festive Halloween activities include trick-or-treating (or the related “guising”), attending costume parties, decorating, carving pumpkins into jack-o’-lanterns, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, visiting haunted house attractions, playing pranks, telling scary stories and watching horror films.
In this greeting I have tried to highlight the popular carved Pumpkins faces. As the festivals are celebrated during the Falls season, I have tried to include the popular coloured leaves from Fall foliage.
Since these are original concept as my symbolic interpretation of an element of the festival in the style and motifs of Mithila / Madhubani Paintings.
People may differ in their views. So opinions are most welcome.
